Senior and Mom to be!

I had an extraordinary session with Becky a few weeks ago. She is a senior in high school, and also a mom to be. She has such a great outlook on life, and even with a baby wants to go to college and get a great job and career. I had so much fun, and her mom was a doll too!

Last Sunday I had an amazing engagement session with two good friends of mine.
Jason use to be in a band I hung out with as well as shot and interviewed, and through him
I met Danielle, one of the most caring, sweet and funny mamas I know.
Oh yeah, they have the most beautiful daughter named Maddy, she makes me laugh every time I see her.
They have been together for about 6 years now, and they've finally decided to tie the knot.
I was so excited when Danielle asked me to take their photos, so everyone save the date for June 9th 2012.
It's going to be a great night.

Indacoda Blue Promos

Hey Everyone!
I finally finished up these promos, and I'm so happy how they turned out!
I took them in Grand Haven by Eagle Ottawa,
and a side note to that. Two weeks after taking these, something blew up in the alley these were taken in.

New Logo!

Thanksgiving Session Giveaway

Hey all,
So I put on a small giveaway I really didn't publicize, on purpose of course.
I asked for them to like my new(ish) page and tell me why they deserve the shoot.
It was very interesting the messages I received, some of them I felt like there was no effort or thought put into it. But, in others, they brought me to tears.
In the end, I ended up picking two winners (Rachel and Kari) who are both very lucky to be alive. Their messages were completely different than all the rest. The pain and heartache they have been through should have a happy outcome. That's what Thanksgiving is all about right? Giving to people (even if they aren't close to you or you don't know them) because you care. I can't wait to have these shoots and show everyone. <3 Happy Turkey Day!

Sarah Ekkel Model Shoot

There's a lot of pressure going into a model shoot that many of your friends have worked with. There is just this voice that kept singing in my head, to do the best, make these pictures look amazing. And I believe I did that very well. I loved working with Sarah, shes such a sweetheart. She was pretty close to that model that everyone wants to shoot because she just does it all, and you don't have to say a word. I couldn't have asked for a better model on a cold cloudy day, brave enough to even stand in the middle of the road, just for some shots.
